My Smart Free Tools ("we," "us," or "this site") provides free calculators and utilities at mysmartfreetools.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, how it's used, and the choices available to you.
The calculators and converters on this site run entirely in your browser. Values you type into a tool — a loan amount, a salary, a weight, a due date, text you want to convert or count — are processed on your device. They are not sent to us, not included in our analytics, and not stored after you close or refresh the page. Passwords created by the Password Generator are generated locally and never leave your browser.
Like most websites, our hosting server automatically records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These server logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country or region), what device and browser they use, and how they found the site. We also record two simple events: that someone interacted with a calculator on a page, and that someone used a "copy result" button. These events include the page title only — never the numbers or text you entered.

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch those fonts, which means Google may receive your IP address as part of that request.
The Unit & Currency Converter fetches current exchange rates from a third-party rates service (open.er-api.com) when that page loads. The request only asks for the latest rates; it does not include any amount or other information you enter.
We do not require account creation, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or payment information anywhere on this site. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your calculator inputs for any purpose.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use the opt-out links above, or browse in a private window. Depending on where you live — for example in California under the CCPA, or in the UK and EU under the GDPR — you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it deleted, or to object to its use. Because we do not keep accounts or profiles, the data we control is limited to server logs; data collected by Google Analytics and ad partners can be managed through the Google links above.
