Estimate your net paycheck from a gross salary using your own deduction rates. Since tax rules vary widely by country and region, this calculator lets you enter the rates that apply to you rather than guessing them.
"Other deductions" can cover social security, health insurance, retirement contributions, or any other withholding as a percent of gross pay.
Enter your gross salary and your own tax and deduction rates as percentages. The calculator converts your salary to an annual figure, applies the deduction rates, then divides the result by your pay frequency to show what lands in your account each paycheck.
Because tax brackets, social contributions, and mandatory benefits differ by country, state, and even employer, this tool intentionally does not assume a specific tax table. If you're unsure what rate to use, check a recent payslip and calculate your effective rate as (total withheld ÷ gross pay) × 100.
Why doesn't this calculator ask for my country?
Tax systems change frequently and vary enormously by jurisdiction. Letting you enter your own effective rate keeps the result accurate to your actual situation instead of relying on a generic table that may be outdated or wrong.
What counts as "other deductions"?
Anything withheld from your paycheck besides income tax: retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, social security, or union dues, for example.
